The Grand Refuge® 3.0 is a multi-climate breathable and insulated Chest Wader designed to provide the ultimate in adaptability to match ANY weather. With its zip-out removable 120-gram insulated liner, it's ready to follow the migration from Canada all the way down to Mexico. The liner reaches from the tops of the boots all the way to the top of the chest for total coverage in icy-cold waters—and if you happen find yourself in flooded timber in warmer southern climates, just zip it out and you're good to go.
The uppers are built from 4-ply polyester for reliable waterproof/breathable comfort, and feature a number of amenities. Like a flip-out zip chest pocket to keep essentials dry and close-by. 10 shotshell loops. Zip front storage pocket. And more. Extra nylon reinforcement in the shin, knee and seat ensure you can can go toe-to-toe with submerged stumps and the occasional barbed-wire fence without worry of ripping or tearing. The boots feature 1,200 gram ThinsulateTM Ultra Insulation along with wool felt midsoles that prevent cold from traveling up through the outsoles—a feature that others neglect.
